Journey
2026-07-03
Timeline of the journey on my life I’ve been through so far.
So far there’s no slash page with this concept, so I just made it.
2012-2019 - My childhood era.
2020-2022 - My first experience with internet sociality with my first own phone, creating content, commenting, joining a group. Until- I get caught. But also having another channel under my parents control, full of niche and tutorial thingy. Come back to thinking this again, I want to learning an desktop-oriented video editor like Kdenlive soon. Kinemaster + Pixellab + YouTube
2023 - My first experience with computer ever, suddenly my attentions got caught everyday. I went from learn about Explorer into Office into Chrome (a good youtube teaching me to make a landing page make me curious) …into VSCode into…. GitHub, the first time I ever coding. HTML + CSS
2024 - More and more coding projects and contributions, making ebook, spend a lot of times in PC, get new dream and hobby, and being open source and fediverse enthusiast.
And at a time, I editing a regedit value as adviced from sketchy website (guiding how to Install Windows 11 on non-TPM device), and my father had to brought my PC to service lol. Coding + GitHub + Fediverse
2025 - Changing my alias (LIGMATV -> W3Teal). Trying out a lot of site generators and even make myself, but as time goes I get tired of coding and went into long hiatus.
By the end of the year, I silently tinkering on BIOS, and able to install OS, dual-booting and distrohopping by myself (an character development here, also modified Windows ISO is goated), and slowly learn the art of music. Ventoy + BIOS + Linux + AOTY
2026 - Almost no interest on coding, I spent my time to reading blogs, music reviews, and listening to musics. And then I’m being acute melophile. I getting words to describe the emotion I feel everyday and reflecting anything I did.
I’m also starts my journey on creating music and learning the architecture of music progressions, instruments, and identifying genre blend, sometimes I created some detailed reviews.
But not just it, I distrohopping for “comfortable” OS, learn to manage dotfiles, and even deeper into self hosting. I start loving to watch Anime and read Manga, that somehow leads me into bigger path of coding somehow.
Which is Bearest, an lightweight CBZ reader. But it blends everything I want. My favorite literature, coding principles is here. It’s powered by vanilla HTML + CSS + JS, fast pnpm, lightweight forgejo instance, and lightweight Tauri. FL Studio + Dotfiles + Tauri + Android Studio + Worlds
And then I realize, Always changing is better than sticking. Opinions and freedom of speech is matters than everything. Maximalizing minimalism, don’t minimalizing maximalism. Everything you like, while diverse, would be ended up blended somehow. That’s my current project.
